ANNE PAUWELS is Professor of Linguistics and Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Western Australia, Australia. She is Chair of the Steering Committee for an Australian national research project Innovative Approaches to Provision of Languages Other Than English in Australian Higher Education.
