Reviews

Until I read Mainers on the Titanic, I had no idea of the scope of that tragedy or how it impacted our state. Mac Smith of Stockton Springs brings it home, in a very compelling way. I was captivated - and astonished. Published this year by Down East Books, this is no dull history. Mac's book includes everything from various newspapers' accounts to poems written by survivors and others. It's not a long book, just 200 pages, but Mainers on the Titanic is a story you will never forget. GeorgeSmithMaine.com
