Author Information

Nicola Baxter has compiled and retold many fairy and folk tale collections for young readers, including the works of Hans Christian Andersen and The Brothers Grimm. She has authored serveral of Ladybird's First Favourite Tales series and worked on compilations of classic children's poetry. She lives in Norfolk, England. Marie Allen is a UK-based illustrator, specialising in illustration for children's publishing, and has contributed to many children's picture books. Jo Parry is a freelance illustrator and artist and has worked for a diverse list of clients including the Early Learning Centre, Marks & Spencer and Penguin Books. She is now based on the sunny south coast in Poole, Dorset.
