Overview

Eleven year old Maggie travels the world with her parents by her side. Living in some of the most remote regions of the world. Both her parents are researchers with their own past and spend most of their days out in the wild. Leaving a very independent, homeschooled Maggie alone. In this episode, her daily adventures into the wild jungle of Borneo bring her to discover the devastating truth about deforestation and the danger it causes local wildlife and the natural balance. Maggie makes friends with a young orangutan called Drew. He offers her a magical fruit that gives her the ability to communicate with the jungle animals. From then on, Maggie's adventures grew exponentially. Maggie discovers the devastating horrors happening in Borneo over the last fifty years when she comes across a new mining quarry being set up not too far from her bamboo home. With the help from her new friends and her parents, she builds an unconventional team of jungle animals. One of which is Dhia, a giant saltwater crocodile who has seen it all in her seventy years of roaming the waterways. Dhia becomes a close accomplice to Maggie and helps her become the leader she is destined to be. Maggie and her team create an unstoppable force of jungle defenders who, with the help of Borneo legend Nabau, manage to put a stop to the continued deforestation of Borneo. Maggie, her new friends and her parents help bring back Borneo to its pristine beauty and wonderland for all who respect the natural ways. Throughout the series: Maggie's Adventures; our young leader will continue helping those who cannot voice their concerns and become a true environmental and wildlife world savior along the way.
