Author Information

Jonathan Gornall is a journalist, formerly with The Times of London, who has lived and worked in the United Arab Emirates. He is also a sailor and, as recounted in his memoir How to Build a Boat: A Father, His Daughter, and the Unsailed Sea, a very amateur boatbuilder. Mo Gannon, the senior English editor at Zayed National Museum, has worked as a journalist in the Arabian Gulf region since 2008. She spent her childhood sailing along Canada’s West Coast.
