Author Information

Francesco Sedita is a writer and children's book publisher. He's created the Pathfinders Society graphic novel series and picture books like This Is the First Book I Will Read to You and Our Italian Christmas Eve. He also executive produced The Who Was Show? on Netflix. He's currently at work on a novel. Find out more about him at francescosedita.com. Claudia Marianno is an illustrator from Indaiatuba, Brazil. She holds a BA in architecture and urbanism from the University of S o Paulo. For many years, Claudia worked as a graphic designer in an education design studio, where she started illustrating for textbooks and magazines. She began illustrating full-time in 2017. Claudia has a passion for creating detailed, urban, and crowded scenes, often inspired by her fascination with Victorian England and the impressionist movements. In her free time, she watches crime TV shows and does art jigsaw puzzles. Having dyslexia meant she struggled with communication and vocabulary, so she started drawing to express herself without words. You can now find her working on her illustrations, surrounded by her adopted cats, in a town so small it doesn't have a single bookstore!
