In the beginning, God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness...So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. (Genesis 1:26-27 - KJV) Man fell from his original state, which had a negative cosmic effect on all creation. The word 'fell' suggest a descent from our original form, function, structure, and faculty. We could no longer be identified in our original form.
