"Aero Maestro achieves its thrust from this painful quotation by Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.: ""Alas for those that never sing, but die with their music still inside of them."" Aero Maestro was founded by and is led by someone who saw this wasted human potential as the greatest source of waste on planet Earth. And in our known Universe. He wanted to help prevent or solve this tragedy with as many people as possible.But first, he had to make sure he didn't die with his music inside of him.In his case, it was literal. Even though his career was in aerospace engineering, he had been composing music and songs since his high school years. As he approached his 40th birthday, he resolved to bypass the traditional historical route of pursuing a record label deal. He would ""pick himself"" to become his own producer and distributor.Following more than one year of learning, setbacks, and effort; his music album was released. With this figurative weight off his shoulders, he was now motivated and determined to foster this same attitude and ability in others to find, create, and release their own unique ""music"" during their lifetime. Brett Hoffstadt is a multi-disciplinary engineer and project manager with a technical background and early career in aeronautical engineering, systems engineering, and project management. He also has applied his creative talents in music, corporate innovation, writing, and publishing. He holds three patents in energy reduction systems for commercial aircraft and airports. In 2010, he achieved his long-term dream of releasing an album of original music. It is entitled ""Preludes & Reflections."" After achieving these creative goals for himself, he turned his energies toward fostering the technical and creative potential of others. He was a key catalyst to bring innovations such as 3-D printing, crowdfunding, and Lean Startup into his aerospace corporate employer. He has since written and published over 30 books on contemporary STEM topics and careers, with his first book being ""How To Be a Rocket Scientist."" published in 2014. Brett Hoffstadt currently lives with his wife, two children, and various pets in Folsom, California, USA. Michael Ugom is a writer with a particular interest in STEM-related topics such as space science, blockchain, and climate change. His passion for writing sprouted from childhood and was further developed by stretches of a strong work ethic and persistence. He was born and raised in Nigeria yet has become fluent in English, Hausa, and German in addition to his native language of Igbo.
