Overview

The author attempts to outline the megatrend from the pre-axial age to the post human era in order to show the trends in our foundations and traditions, including illusions and obsessions that have been influenced by technology and the transformation of the essence of nature (natural impulse of being) to the essence of technology (techne truth). The MacroMegaTrend is primarily from being as an experience to knowing as an abstracting way of having ideas. Now, the pace has become so great that advocates of the technological singularity claims a symbiotic unity of human as machine, intelligence as artificial, and machine as human will be necessary to process the data and to exist in the new era, and this will require transcending biology, but the author claims that this will have a macrocosmic shift in being in which teknosis (the total domination of technology) in essence will be psychosis of being, or the loss of being based on the natural impulse which will be replaced by knowing and having as the ground and essence of existence.
