Overview

The Mac Pro is a server computer that is Intel Xeon based and is manufactured by Apple Inc. In many of the configurations that it is available in, there is great speed and performance and will be the most powerful computer that Apple offers. It is one of the higher end models of three desktop computers that are in the Mac lineup. The Mac Pro went through iterations of changes and ended with the new shape and the device taking up 1/8 of the volume than the previous model. The device uses a central processing unit, four DDR3 slots, dual AMD GPUs and PCIe based flash storage. This book will seek to explore some of the features of the device to educate the reader on the capabilities of the Mac Pro device.
