"M4 is developed as a process tool, and we want to encourage you to be accountable to take action. With a clear foundation in the Word of God combined with the personal experience of the authors, M4 will help you reflect and act on central issues that are relevant for all church planters. If you have a dream to start something new, M4 is a tool to help you to realize your dream. The continent of Europe is in desperate need of pioneers who plant new churches. The contributing authors of M4 have a desire to mobilize people to do church planting in Norway, Scandinavia and Europe. M4 is not formed in an academic environment but out of practical experience. We are church planters ourselves, and we share with you from our own lives and experiences. We come from various church backgrounds and organizations, but we hold certain things in common: A passion to see people won for Jesus Christ and new churches planted in Norway, Scandinavia, and Europe. A faith to see God raise up thousands of his people, both young and old, with a call and equipping to form and multiply new, vibrant fellowships. A longing to be spiritual fathers and mothers for a young generation that needs to hear, ""GOD IS ABLE! Just do it! We're standing with you! We believe in you!"" A belief that ""together with all the saints"" we can recognize and understand what God is doing today. We desire to listen and learn from each other, in mutual respect and appreciation for the various models and methods used by each other in church planting. A conviction that nothing is impossible with God. When we obey and follow the Word of God, he stands by his promises. M4 has been developed in the church-planting environment of Norway. The National Church Planting Network of Norway is a support network consisting of people who recognize that when we work together as the body of Christ, we will see living churches established in all ethnic, cultural and geographic areas of a nation. The contributing authors of this book are, in one way or another, involved with the National Church Planting Network of Norway. We've collectively read hundreds of books about church planting, leadership, and pioneer work. We believe that knowledge is a good thing, but action based on what we've learned is even better. Faith grows only through obedience. For the international version of M4 Part 2 we have the privilege of welcoming Dietrich Schindler as one of our contributing authors. Dietrich writes about the Jesus movement in Europe and draws from his experience and knowledge gained from planting five churches and from leading the church planting efforts of the Evangelical Free Church in Germany."
