It was my way of giving voice to the many questions that this loss raised. I was already in the middle of this process when the year 2025 changed everything. Losing both my parents became the most profound and painful turning point in my life. This experience transformed not only me, but also my writing from the ground up - so I started over.I did not do this because the first draft was wrong, but because my view of life itself had changed. I write to find words for what remains when the foundation breaks - and to open spaces for what lives on within us.In everything I do, I am carried by the gifts my parents gave me: compassion, clarity and the courage to navigate even the deepest uncertainty. They showed me how to find your way, even when it falls apart. My vocation as a master hairdresser has taught me that every encounter is a touch that can initiate change. The loss of my salon to the flood was a devastating blow. And yet, for me, this event did not mark the end, but rather the starting point of a profound reorientation.Today, I mentor young people as a trainer and deepen this attitude through my studies in social work. My writing, my profession and my personal growth are inextricably linked. They are my way of conveying authenticity and the confidence that even in the midst of profound upheaval, something new can emerge.I write for everyone who has questions - for adults and children alike. My heart beats especially for children, because their questions often have a special directness and deserve language that is clear and gentle at the same time. Many parents' search for answers to the question - How do you talk to them about the difficult topics in life? - has given rise to my desire to create a safe space with my stories. A space where children can ask their own questions and are not alone with their feelings. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
