Does the world really need another LSAT prep book? The short answer is yes, but only if it s the right kind of LSAT study guide. What the world does not need is another LSAT prep book with generic test-taking gimmicks, written by people who have never actually taken a timed LSAT. Extreme language may be a common pitfall, but so is avoiding extreme language when it is actually the answer! 4.Get the Big Picture This LSAT prep book aims to present you with the big picture: how arguments work in day-to-day life. In our experience as LSAT instructors, we have noticed a trend: students who make an effort to apply the logical principles on the LSAT to arguments in their daily lives tend to improve much more quickly than students who only study the LSAT on paper. If you are open to changing the way you argue (or to analyzing your own argumentative patterns), odds are that you will come to a deeper, more fundamental understanding of what the LSAT is testing.
