OverviewGrand Teton National Park resource managers are concerned that seasonally dry reaches of the lower Gros Ventre River below the Wyoming State Highway 89/191 Bridge are potentially impacting natural resources. The park requested assistance from the National Park Service Water Resources Division to determine the feasibility of restoring and/or maintaining perennial flow in these reaches. In 2006 the Water Resource Division initiated a study to research water rights, inventory and measure diversions, conduct a seepage run, and develop a water budget for the lower Gros Ventre River.
