Reviews

"Modern Times was an experimental community established on Long Island, New York in the middle of the 19th by Josiah Warren. This is the first book-length study of the community and its residence, a notable collection of free thinkers and eccentrics. . . . This will be the standard reference on Modern Time for years to come.-- ""Choice"" Wunderlich's history of Modem Times surpasses all previous work and will itself not soon (if ever) be surpassed.-- ""Charles Shively, Harvard University"""
