Overview

Do you ever wonder why the universe hates you? Addison Moore sure does. Tired of her toxic exes and ready for a break from city life, Addison leaps into a week-long escape in her hometown of Stone Ridge, Arizona. It just so happens that's also where Frankie lives. Frankie, the tattooed coffee shop owner Addison tried to kiss-and was rejected by-a few months ago. And Addison hasn't seen or spoken to them since. It makes sense then, that Frankie is Addison's only hope of rescue when her travel plans go awry. Next thing she knows, Frankie is treating her to orgasmic lattes and sweeping her off her feet to the dulcet tones of Ella Fitzgerald. A few days of dog-sitting turns into a week of swoon-worthy dates and steamy nights, despite the universe seemingly working against them. Between Addison's exes wreaking emotional havoc and a competitive business owner threatening Frankie's livelihood, the freshly-brewed pair must move past their hang-ups to give love a second chance. Things are finally looking up... just as Addison's week of freedom ends. This week wasn't meant to be forever, right? Escape to the queer-friendly small town of Stone Ridge in this sapphic novella featuring a confident, nonbinary coffee shop owner and a bubbly, bisexual city girl as they get swept into a whirlwind second-chance romance.

Reviews

This book is the perfect summer read! It's short, sweet and has a lot of heart. The chemistry between Frankie and Addison is *chef's kiss*. I love a will they won't they type of vibe and it's definitely there with Frankie and Addison. Frankie is bad ass, super fine and owns a coffee shop!! Like, where do I sign up They are extremely charismatic, charming and can bake / make coffee? What a dream. Addison is fierce and extremely lovable and I can't forget about the most important character, Moose! Reading this really makes me want to read book number 1, Poinsettia Lane! I definitely recommend this book if you're looking for a LGBTQ+ small town romance that will leave you wanting more! Absolutely adored this book! I was hooked from the very start and couldn't put it down; I honestly didn't expect to love it as much as I did! The dynamic between the characters was beautiful and not to mention completely adorable. You could quite literally feel the chemistry through the screen from the outset; not to mention the spice was spicing The writing itself was gorgeous and so easy to read, really allowing me to become immersed in the story. And let's not forget the ending which reminds you exactly what it means to be part of the queer community and how beautiful it can be! Frankie and Addison will be on my mind for the foreseeable and I'm not complaining! This was such a cute little story! I loved Frankie in Poinsettia Lane, so seeing them get their own fluff and such made my heart happy. The pacing was good, the spice was hot, and I really feel like Addison and Frankie were meant for each other. We saw them flirt in Poinsettia Lane, so getting to see that deepen and develop was comforting. This second chance romance was short and so sweet. The chemistry between the two MC's was perfect and the build up between their relationship felt real. There is some ex drama mentioned but it does not take over the story. I recommend to anyone looking for a heartwarming sweet story with low angst and spice. Love You A Latte is a short, lovely, soft and light read. Flirting, eroticism and funny moments are presented believably giving the read a chilled vibe. Frankie and Addison have instant chemistry and their relationship develops stormily in the style of the humorous myth of Sapphic relationships with few bumps on the road to happiness.
