Heather McManus, an associate ASID member and Creative Director of Artistry Interiors LLC, graduated from The Pratt Institute in 1999 with a BFA in Art Education. After teaching art for a short while, her true destiny called her to work in the interior design field. What seemed like an accident at the time could only later be defined as divine intervention. Her first job in the interior design world was working for a high-end custom window treatment and reupholstery workroom. That's where she learned how things are made from the ground up and got to know all the fabric manufacturers. Heather discovered that she not only loved this new field, but was a natural talent. She went on to work for a few high-end furniture stores before breaking out on her own to start Artistry Interiors, LLC. Heather's design philosophy is to love where you live, because your environment affects how you feel. It's so much more than pretty spaces or impressing your neighbors. Loving where you live means you're surrounded by beauty, comfort and luxury. Your home becomes your best friend, with whom you want to spend more time. It means everything functions to serve you and make your life easier.
