Alison Jones, hailing from western Kentucky, is a devoted Christian, wife, and mother as well as a passionate children's literature enthusiast. A former middle school English teacher with a Master's degree in reading and writing, Alison took a step back from teaching in 2010 to focus on her family, and was inspired to start Love Big Ranch in 2023. Married to a dedicated veterinarian, they share their love for animals with their three children at the ranch, home to a variety of animals including highland cattle and donkeys. The ranch serves as a platform to teach their children about responsibility and compassion. Alison's love for animals and children's literature beautifully converge in her delightful first book, Pete and Friends.
