Overview

When Lotte arrived in Vienna in 1904, everything was still new and strange to her. Up to now she has lived with her father in Murzzuschlag and has not seen much of the big city. But her time in the mountains and on skis is helping her now. She immediately gets a job in the small mountain sports shop on Kaiserstrasse, because skiing is only just beginning and only very few are familiar with the new types of boards. You can hardly imagine that this is also something for women. But Lotte is not deterred by this, and when a young gentleman orders his skis from her and takes a liking to her, she fears that it could all just be a dream...
