Overview

Misty Sumner, aspiring writer and St. Mary's School librarian, decides to join the sisters who raised her by becoming a nun. First, she must deny her secret feelings for Father Hyman, the man she longs for. Second, she must prove her dedication. To do so, she volunteers to clean up St. Francis Hill's long-neglected valley in preparation for the church's upcoming Memorial Day Festival. When Misty's dog unearths the bones of an unknown female that has been in the ground for almost three decades, the amateur sleuth and her priest embark on a journey to discover the mystery woman's identity. When Misty's interest turns to obsession, causing her to risk her life to unearth the truth of the unknown woman's life, Father Hyman must step in. He doesn't want Misty to take her vows, but won't admit to himself why he opposes it. His feelings for Misty become more intense by the day. Will he forsake his vows and succumb to forbidden love?
