Lowrey knows journalism, and Kyla has experience in entrepreneurship; this has created the perfect synergy to launch the Happy Tails Books project. Lowrey has two adopted dogs of her own. Kyla has two adopted dogs and continues to foster dogs for a dog rescue organization.
