GOODREADS 5-STAR REVIEWS: I received this book as an ARC read and let me tell you, I could not put it down!! Danni Marie did such a great job with the characters and writing them in a way that you fall in love with them so fast! The story is original with tropes we all love! The masked man trope has been done a lot, but in this book it's done REALLY well!! 10/10 recommended to read! I will 100% be reading this again!! Where do I start? It's hard to say. This book was one I could NOT put down. The pacing? Perfect. Slow enough to build emotional connection, fast enough that you don't get distracted, mysterious and thrilling enough that you're on the edge of your seat the entire time. I felt an extremely deep and personal attachment and relation to the FMC. I had tears streaming down my face and I hugged my Nook. Heart wrenching, funny, witty, smutty in all the BEST ways. This is by far my favorite book from 2025, I say that with FULL confidence and sincerity. Danni, it was a pleasure being one of your ARC readers. You're so sweet and so kind and I just want to say, you created a masterpiece and I can't wait to have a physical copy in my hands I have a new book boyfriend and he is somethin else I don't leave reviews often. Lost in the Chase I received Lost in The Chase as an arc and let me just start off by saying I am so grateful to have been given an arc this book is amazing! Danni Marie has my heart with this book Lost in the chase is funny, intriguing, thrilling and full of so much tension pining and mystery. I have not read a dark romance that has felt like this book before. The back and forth banter the question keep piling up. You start to think you know what's going on but then that's not it and you have more questions. I loved all the characters in this book and how different they all are while still fitting together so perfectly. I cannot wait to continue this story!!! This was one of those books you start and finish in one sitting! The way I binge read this. She had me hooked from the first page. Masked men and new book boyfriend, do i really need to say more. Add this to your TBR you are not gonna want to miss this phenomenal read! Lost in the Chase left me begging for more. Danni Marie has a way with words, from the dedication to the last sentence I was invested. I couldn't get enough! The storyline is well written and develops as you get pulled into Lila's world. Good amount of spice! Add to your TBR now! I got chosen to be an ARC reader for this book! I absolutely loved it so much. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.
