Overview

Christopher Connelly had endured many school trial Shelters In Place and Lockdowns over the years. Even though his latest destination found him a Librarian in a Title 1 Coronado Elementary School in the less affluent south side of Santa Fe, the likelihood of a violent occurrence remained remote. Meanwhile, special education student Christian De Leon wondered if bullying and an inability to keep up with his fellow fifth graders would ever change. Then he met mysterious Tutor, Emerald Star. Few would ever imagine how De Leon could improve his reading skills dramatically, yet find himself in a desperate dilemma.
