Debra E. Brady has been exploring various levels of spirituality all her life. Sometimes these came from a traditional religious standpoint, at others, highly pragmatic, bordering on agnostic. As a mystic and intuitive reader, she provides insight to others seeking information that is often buried just beneath the surface of the psyche. As a healer , she assists herself and others in overcoming physical, emotional and spiritual points of resistance. The Seth Material by Jane Roberts as well many other writers, intrigued her. But, they often prompted even more questions than they answered. There seemed to be mysteries yet to be uncovered, but before the age of the World Wide Web, it often felt like mere coincidence as to how to find these, if they were even available. With the barriers to greater knowledge becoming ever more available, she learned about many things that provide a glimpse of things unseen and difficult to know. She has investigated the many alternative spiritual communities around the Santa Fe/Albuquerque area, including Eckankar, Unity, and finally finding a home in the Science of Mind church within walking distance of the home where her two younger sisters were born, many years before. Her education has also included the Eastern mystical traditions of the Kabbalah under the tutelage of Joseph Lee. Her online group, One with Spirit Meta-Journal Forum, has been going strong since early 2002. She is also a Master Teacher of Sekhem Seichim Reiki with over eight years of experience practicing and teaching Reiki and intuitive bodywork. As a writer, her work bridges the scientific and analytical worlds of non-fiction with a mystical infusion of spirituality and metaphysics. She currently lives and works in the Metropolitan DC area, where she offers spiritual counseling and intuitive reading, as well as facilitating energy work and healing.
