Reviews
What I admire most about Zoe is how she's always stayed so true to herself, and her work - in turn - is beautifully slow, intentional, and deeply thoughtful. Lost and Found is overflowing with breathtaking photography, an abundance of incredible flower varieties, and essays that read like poetry. But the best part about this book is seeing Zoe's unique perspective through her camera lens. Erin Benzakein, Floret Farm

Author Information
Zoë Field is owner of Field of Roses, a small flower farm and floral design studio which she runs with her mother, Sue Field. The farm is nestled in the beautiful Waingake Valley just outside of Gisborne, New Zealand. From a field overlooking rolling hills and the river valley below, they grow an assortment of garden roses, flowering annuals and perennials—each lending themselves to wild and romantic designs. As a mother and daughter team, they work side-by-side planting, tending, picking, and designing from Spring through to Autumn. They grow a wide range of flowers. Roses being their main crop, with one thousand garden roses keeping them busy throughout the year and just under an acre of cut flowers where you’ll find all the classics—Sweet Peas, Foxgloves, Dahlias, Zinnias, Poppies, Clematis, the list goes on. As a designer, Zoë’s aesthetic draws inspiration from nature. It is loose and romantic in style. Her hope is for every bouquet and arrangement to tell a story about the land in which it was grown, as well as the seasons from which it came. Whether it’s filled with delicate spring blooms, sun-loving summer flowers, or earthy autumn tones, each one is a true celebration of the seasons.
