Reviews

I just finished reading the book and I am beyond impressed! Bravery is such a strong character, and I found myself totally immersed in her world of adventure and danger. I have raved about it to all of my friends and currently there is a wait list of 5 people desperately waiting to read the book. My fiancé is now reading it, and she LOVES it! (she may have asked to name our future daughter Bravery as well) Please tell Brynn that I absolutely loved the animals (Cornholio was my favourite) and I cannot wait to read the next book! Ellouise Thompson (Reporter Wellington Advertiser) I finally had a chance to read your book, and it was fantastic! I was on the edge of my seat through the whole adventure. Bravery is such an engaging hero, and your cast of characters is so rich and well-drawn. I loved learning about nature and Alaska, wolves and bears, especially from the enthusiastic voice of Bravery. There were so many tense moments, with rich emotions. It was so sad when she said goodbye to the wolf cub, but so wonderful that the pack became her protectors. I liked how you interspersed high tension and adventure with nostalgic anecdotes about her growing up, her town and homestead, her family and friends and even all the pets, including Cornholio. I was so relieved for everyone when Bravery was found. But she never seemed weak. I love that it ended with the beginning of another adventure. Is there a sequel coming?;) The characters are so well-drawn, your main character is feisty and lovable, and the action gets your heart pounding. I could see this as a movie! Congratulations to you and Brynn on a wonderful story. I'd love to hear about your process sometime. Vanessa Ireson Author (Let's go goose-goose, Sir Steve and the Christmas Dragon, When Sun Met Moon) www.antonayak.com ""Bravery reminded me of myself as a child! She has a wild imagination, combined with an urge for adventure, and a deep appreciation for family. You can tell she is very sensible, yet common sense doesn't always prevail when you are a child with a heart for nature. This story captivated my attention as she draws on her knowledge and training to prevail.""
