""Young readers will delight in Ella's portrayal: She's a smart, feisty, competent child with an adult sensibility who's accustomed to putting things right. Fans of this community-minded series will gladly return for another visit."" -- Kirkus Reviews

""It is a joy to spend time in the community that has blossomed among the Poppy Hill apartment residents, and though life in 1106 Wildflower Place may not always be perfect, it is always welcoming, respectful, and kind. Ella's small adventures afford her time to think and grow, and her self-assurance and compassionate nature will inspire young readers."" -- Booklist ""Young readers will delight in Ella's portrayal: She's a smart, feisty, competent child with an adult sensibility who's accustomed to putting things right.
