Alberto Ruy Sánchez (Ciudad de México, 1951) es editor y escritor. Codirige junto a Margarita de Orellana la revista Artes de México. Su serie de novelas sobre el deseo, ambientadas en la onírica ciudad de Mogador, le ha merecido el reconocimiento nacional e internacional en múltiples ocasiones.
