Este libro, escrito en 1994, nos cuenta como empezo la historia del narcotrafico en Venezuela. En apenas nueve capitulos, el autor nos relata con detalles la forma como los carteles de la droga fueron penetrando poco a poco todas y cada una de las instituciones venezolanas. Primero penetraron el estamento militar. Posteriormente penetraron los partidos politicos. Y luego penetraron el gobierno nacional, llegando incluso hasta el propio Palacio de Miraflores. Los carteles de la droga iniciaron en 1983 un proceso para convertir a Venezuela en lo que es hoy: un narco estado, una narco dictadura.
