Author Information

I am a Belgian, mainly writing in English and flemmish(Vlaams); firstly as a hobby to improve my language skills and secondly to finally put all of my thoughts into actual readable content that I hope others will enjoy. The thrill of the story, the adventure we could travel together. I grew up reading mainly fantasy books, one of those that stuck with me the most growing up was ""the dwarves"" by Markus Heitz and the immense world he was able to create, his new and refreshing spin made me dream of accomplishing something similar one day. A second author/story that is important to me is naturally Tolkien and his foundation of the modern day fantasy genre. As well as Warhammer, the universe made by Games Workshop, both the fantasy as the 40K version I adored so much growing up that I am still stuck reading as many books as I can get my hands on. Yet story's like ""The borrowers"" by Marry Norton, give me the hope to not just make a world and universe but also pay attention to the details, to make it not just a story told by someone, but to make it feel like you (the reader) are truly immersed into it, wondering if for examples 'the borrowers' do not walk around for real, hoping to perhaps see one someday. Atributing certain things going missing to these wonderful small creatures.
