Overview

Lord Rushlake and his family, visiting the country for Easter, find themselves once more caught up in a murder mystery. This time it's rather close to home, the victim being Lady Titania's friend and occasional suitor. All the usual members of the Team are present: Rushlake's intrepid aunt Lady Amberstone; the professional London detective and his wife, Mr and Mrs Bodley; Titania's former companion, Saffy; Lord Rushlake himself and his sister Lady Titania, as well as a whole new set of people best described as 'suspects'. As the investigation proceeds, more is learned about the victim and several people are forced to adjust their views as a consequence. All the members of the family display their usual sympathy and understanding and work together to reach the right conclusion.
