LORD JESUS, HELP ME TO STANDLord Jesus, help me to stand, against the devil and his fiery hand. Since I decided to follow You, the devil has tried lots of things; help me to remember that I find refuge in the shadow of Your wings. The devil thought he had won, when You were nailed to the cross; help me to remember that You rose after three days, and the devil knew he had lost. He still wants to win by making me doubt the gift of salvation You gave; help me to remember that for me, the price has been paid. The devil is cunning and crafty, a liar from the beginning; help me to remember that his time is soon ending. He goes around like a lion, roaring for his dinner; help me to remember that only through You am I a winner. Help me to resist the devil so that he will flee; help me to remember that You've already given me the victory. You've given me Your armor to keep me safe; help me to remember that in You, I can always keep my faith. So, now when the devil tries his fiery hand, I will say, Thank you, Lord Jesus, for helping me to stand.
