Author Information

The author has been affiliated with the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College. She was the Associate Director for one of the first programs nationally in 'Counselor' training. She then became the Associate Director for the first program to implement a model curriculum for medical student education. In 1999, she was the first recipient of the NIAA's Senator Harold Hughes Award, in recognition for her efforts to translate scientific work into clinical practice.
