Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationRachel Basco earned her B.S. in cardiopulmonary science and M.S. in health sciences from Louisiana State University (LSU) Health Science Center, School of Allied Health Professions. She currently is completing her dissertation for her Ed.P. at Louisiana Tech University. She worked as a registered respiratory therapist for 10 years and then began her career in college instruction in respiratory therapy at the LSU School of Allied Professions in Shreveport, Louisiana. Professor Basco then found her interest to be in nonclinical education and began instructing biology courses at Bossier Parish Community College in Bossier City, Louisiana. She completed a graduate certificate in instructional design from the University of Wisconsin-Stout to improve her expertise in online learning. She is employed as a project director and adjunct instructor in medical terminology at Bossier City Community College. Rhonna Krouse-Adams is an Associate Professor in the department of Health Sciencesat the College of Western Idaho. She received a MS from Boise State University. In 2009.Rhonna was provided the unique opportunity to be a founding member of a brand-newcommunity college that opened in 2010. There she was able to build the Health ScienceDepartment and a nationally recognized Public Health degree. Presently, Rhonna servesand the curriculum developer for both the health science and public health programs anddeveloping educational content for her school and others. Her present project is with theLeague of Innovation and the CDC devolving curriculum on infectious disease for colleges across the country. David M. Allan received his medical training at Cambridge University and Guy's Hospital in England. He was chief resident in Pediatrics at Bellevue Hospital in New York City before moving to San Diego, California. Dr. Allan has worked as a family physician in England, a pediatrician in San Diego, and an associate dean at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine.
