"Looking for God in All the Right Places is a book of devotions written to offer you company in the beginning of your day, in the middle, or at the end of your day. When you are looking for God, wherever you are, whatever place you are in- you will find Him. That is His promise. Wherever you are right now is the right place. Look for God there! Take to heart this day and every day that you matter to God and He cares for you. The truth of the matter is that God is love with a capital ""L."" All love comes from Him. God offers companionship, a personal relationship with you- now and throughout eternity. It is a heart-lifting and precious gift to see how God reveals Himself in the midst of the activities of your daily life. Whether you are climbing a mountain or stopped in your tracks, whether you are at a baseball game, a symphony, or a theatrical production, whether you are shopping for Christmas or making a raspberry pie; pause right in the middle of the moment and look for God there. God is that big. He is that loving. He is that involved. God watches over you day by day, moment by moment, and that is a divine marvel to realize and accept. Your Father in heaven cares about the details of your life. ""You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart"" (Jeremiah 29:13). Dear God, the desire I have for my writing is that people are encouraged, that they find hope, and that they see just how great and how good a God You are. I want them to know they matter to You and You love them. To You be the glory. With faith, hope, and love in Jesus Christ I pray. Amen."
