She was the Director of Research and a Consultant at Hope & Cope at the Jewish General Hospital, Montreal, QC. (2009-2014). She has mentored first and second year McGill medical students on research projects focusing in gerontology, cancer survivors and health-related outcomes. Besides editing a book on ethnic elders and two books on cancer survivors, she has received grants, and published numerous articles and book chapters in scientific journals.
