J. G. EASTMAN loves dogs. Not those snarly, jump-up-and-bite-you-on-the-elbow sort-but most. She adores dog stories-but can't bear the nobody-wants-the-dog scenes that must be endured before the happy ending. She also had captivating stories to tell, so she wrote ""Long Nose Legacy"" and ""Long Nose Legacy II,"" fictional novels (without the unbearable scenes) about the good sort of dogs and the people who cherish them.She is a award-winning author, designer, art director, media and theatre producer, member of the Society of Children's Books Writers and Illustrators, the Dog Writers Association of America, and the Independent Book Publishers Association. She lives on the California coast with her husband and their two show Borzoi, who are related to Madison who inspired her books.
