Author Information

Kristen Noel Dobson emanates joy when she speaks of her seven children, her many foster children, and her current and anticipated grandchildren. Having instructed others in writing and grammar for thirty years, she could no longer keep her own fingers silent, particularly regarding her grandchildren, whom she truly believes to be grand. Inspired by her love for them and her love of words, she has created a series of Lolly books that reflect the special bond shared between grandparents and their grandchildren. Affectionately dubbed ""FeFe"" by her nieces, Sophie Noel Osburn began her art career at the age of two when she colored her baby brother with purple marker. Since then, she's found expression in art, creating beautiful greeting cards as well as publishing a wordless children's book, The Boy and His Tree. Her watercolor illustrations reflect the joy that bubbles up in her heart when she spends time with her nieces. Collaborating with her mother on the Lolly book series has been an exciting adventure.
