A lovely lady, of hugs and ladybugs, of peace and laughter, for today and all the days after. Alaurilee (Muse name of Lauri)Author Lauri Chase made her appearance in the world of writing when she published her first book of poetry, Alaurilee: Rhymes of a Random Soul, under the name Lauri Halterman, in the Summer of 2010. She started working on her first children's book at the same time and in 2022 she published Lola the Little Green Ladybug under the name Lauri Chase, which will remain her professional Author name from here on out. She has since finished multiple projects including a follow up poetry book; Alaurilee: Soulshine's Story in Rhyme, a short story book; Alaurilee: A Walkabout of Words, and a sequel to her first Lola book, Lola's Summer Break.Lauri grew up in northwestern New Mexico near the Navajo Reservation and after a decade or more in each state of Oklahoma and Eastern Tennessee, she has returned to New Mexico; this time in the Permian Basin near Texas. She is a conversational poet who loves people and makes a difference in people's lives every chance she gets.
