Alastair Steele (Author) Alastair Steele works for the Mid Hants Railway as a Carriage Restorer and has a Masters degree in Historic Building and Railway Conservation. Locomotion will be his first book. He is based in Farnham, UK where he lives with his wife and young daughter. Ryo Takemasa (Illustrator) Ryo Takemasa is multi award-winning illustrator based in Tokyo, Japan. He graduated from Musashino Art University in 2010. Ryo's illustrations are used for a wide range of work worldwide including cook books, travel guides, editorial commissions, posters and much more. He is a member of the Tokyo Illustrators Society.
