Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationThomas has spent thirty-five years in information technology and now specialises in Local Search Optimisation. He has been a co-founder and director of several Information Technology related businesses, some of which have been sold and others have become publicly traded. In 1984 he co-founded International Software which grew sales of PC software from zero to 1 million per month within eighteen months. In 1988 he co-founded Symantec UK Ltd and doubled their UK sales within three years. In the late 90's he became CEO of Brady plc, a Cambridge based Software Company servicing risk management in the commodity markets, which floated on AIM. Since 1999 he has been a consultant, initially advising high technology start-up businesses in Cambridge and now advising local businesses, whatever their trade, on how to position themselves online to win more business. The results have been spectacular in many cases. The motivation for this book is to explain the complexity behind his company's tag line: Helping Local Businesses stand out when customers are looking for their products or services. Few people make the distinction between local businesses and any other type of business. What they fail to realise is that Local Search is becoming increasingly important to the big players like Google. The online world is stacked in their favour if they take advantage of it and this book discusses how to do that. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
