Written by Nancy Ellwood Nancy Ellwood is an editor, publisher, and author. Her love of collecting facts about animals, history, science, geography, and more fits perfectly with her current job of creating fun and fascinating nonfiction for kids. Illustrated by Scott Soeder Scott Soeder has had his illustrations and funny characters appear in children's books and publications such as Highlights magazine, Spider magazine, and many others. His work has been recognized by the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators and AIGA as well his parents' refrigerator. Scott also plays drums and loves listening to music while he works. He lives in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife, three children and one imperturbable cat.
