Overview

The little girl sat in the straw playing with her rag doll. The sun sent rays through the worn barn door, leaving part of her in shadow, part in sunshine. It was a warm day and she was slightly sad as her mother has told her off for being naughty. She was not quite sure what she had done, but playing with her doll soon made her forget. Lizzy was just an ordinary little girl living with her parents on their smallholding farm somewhere in the state of Colorado, US of A. She was an only child and spent most of her time on her own musing about things she saw around her. She could spend hours looking at a dandelion clock, resisting the urge to by the effect that she giggled loudly and ran chasing the drifting seeds in their small parachutes.
