Dorothy grew up on a farm near Huntley, Wyoming and resides in Cheyenne, Wy. She has been married to her husband Ray for fifty six years and they are the parents of six children and ten grandchildren. Her only brother was killed in a car accident and through that experience of losing him, she turned to God for comfort and a deeper meaning to life. Questions like where is his soul and why did he die when his life was really just beginning began a search within her for a deeper meaning to her own life. These questions led to daily bible reading and prayer. She accepted Jesus as her personal Savior and began keeping a prayer journal. She would write her prayers to Jesus and then listen in her heart to what he wanted to speak to her. She felt the Lord was calling her to share the messages with others for inspiration and hope. Dorothy enjoys painting watercolors, golfing and reading. She serves as a lector in her church. One of her greatest joys is having her family all home and enjoying time together.
