I have a learning disability, I grew up in a hostile environment. I was told I was stupid, and I would never amount to anything. This story I have written, is my story. My story of how took my challenges, and successfully achieved them. I continue everyday to face anything anyone throws at me. I will never give up, I will be fearless. I hope my readers are inspired to face their challenges, their problems and fight. Never live up to anyone's expectations of you. Find your own way, become what you want, and be who you are.

My name is Lisa. I was born in 1983. I have a learning disability, I was born with a physical disability, and I faced many challenges. Today I don't have a physical disability. I still have problems with my legs however, with determination I am successfully able to walk. Dealing with an verbally abusive mother, who drank and did drugs forced me to see who I might become. I needed to do better. Be better and prove to everyone who thought I was stupid, that they were wrong. Most importantly I proved to myself that I can do it. If anyone gets anything out of this book I hope it is inspiration and motivation to achieve anything you can.
