OverviewTracey Fussell grew up in the small town of Bogalusa, Louisiana. It was there that her struggle with bipolar disorder began. Confused and frustrated she spent most of her early years suffering alone and unsure of her future. As she got older, her spiritual convictions were a comfort, but she remained isolated from the Christian community she so desperately sought to identify with. The realities of living with bipolar came crashing down as she fought to work, raise a family, and manage daily tasks while the symptoms of illness wreaked havoc with her life. No one is above mental illness. More and more people are coming out of the dark and reaching out to the members of the church. This book is her ministry as she searches for those who are also high functioning yet at times suffer from crippling symptoms. It is meant for everyone and particularly reaches out to those in the Christian community. It is her hope and prayer that you will find hope and compassion by using this book as a guide to help you manage bipolar disease.
