Author Information

Nilotpal Ghosh, Ph.D., is Professor, Department of Livestock Production Management, West Bengal University of Animal & Fishery Sciences (WBUAFS), Kolkata. He has also served as Veterinary Officer, Animal Resources Development Department, Government of West Bengal; Professor and Head, Department of Animal Science, Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya (BCKV), West Bengal; and Dean, Faculty of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, WBUAFS, Kolkata. He is a National Fellow of Indian Society of Animal Production and Management (FNAPM). He is also associated with a number of scientific journals/magazines as a referee or a member of editorial board. Dr. Ghosh is a life member of various scientific societies in India. Many of his research articles have been published in national and international journals. He has been the paper setter and external examiner of different universities in India. Apart from this book, he has authored fifteen professional books, which are acclaimed in the field of animal husbandry.
