After training as a Marine Engineer, David often sailed from Liverpool docks on his many voyages to South America with the Pacific Steam Navigation Company. After gaining a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering followed by a Masters degree, David spent most of his career in education. Since his recent retirement David has written 12 published books.
