Live, Laugh, Love: How I Beat Cancer Three Times

Overview

My intention in writing this book was to offer the reader a unique and informative understanding of one person's journey. While offering a full range of emotions, I believe the book will present hope, humor, and a humble appreciation of daily life.

Author Information

Peggy Richey was born in Covina, California in 1952. She graduated from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California where she earned her bachelor's degree in liberal arts with a major in Spanish and a minor in French. Her many travels, during and after college, had a lot of influence on her love of people; their history and culture. Her favorite place, and one that she thinks is the 13th wonder of the world, is Lake Tahoe. She spent summers working there while in college and moved there for a couple of years after. She has been a resident of North Texas since 1979 and spent 25 years selling real estate. She retired in March of 2008 at the request of her doctors who, at that time, gave her 3-5 weeks to live. Her interests vary and she is always willing to experience new things. As she believes, Variety is the spice of life.
