OverviewTwo cousins own a vintage record store in L A called Groovies. But they are also half brothers. They are a year apart in age. Their names are Pinto and Coffee Bean. They have the same mother and their fathers were brothers. They sometimes play oldies in seedy bars in North Hollywood to make extra cash. ( guitar and keyboards )They also have a podcast studio set up in the attic of the record store, which is just an old house they turned into a store. Their podcast is called, 'Live from the Treehouse'. They play old Rock and Country songs and talk about them. Sometimes they take call in requests. They only have 12 subscribers and hardly anyone ever calls in. One night, a kid from Arkansas calls and asks them about plagerism. His name is Elijah Winters. He wrote a song that he thinks was stolen from him and now it's rising on the country charts. They don't take the kid seriously but promise him they will look into it if he subscribes to their podcast. Pinto Bean calls his ex-wife who hates him but she is a lawyer and agrees to take the case pro bono if he will get caught up on the alimony.
